It is only the second week of the total lockdown in Basel due to the Corona virus.

My home office got overrun with 3 more occupants: both kids and Andi.

The kids still think that they are on a five week vacation and so it is challenging doing the home schooling interleaved with some virtual online schooling. Or so it feels...

In preparation for all of this we went panic buying over the border into German on the final day before border controls started.

So being far to late to accumulate any toilet paper we went for a liquid diet so none would be needed!

Unfortunately, with home schooling involved it's not going to be sufficient and we will run out in a few days. All contributions are welcome!

Panic in Britain meant buying up all the "loo rolls" no matter what format it came in.

To handle the lack to ass-wiping material I called in some favors.

Fortunately for us, Indiana came up with the goods after locating some in an old box with a couple of stone tablets hidden in an ancient town in Egypt! The trouble you must go to these days.

The kids were bored with their working from home and so were given an assignment to make cookies. Their efforts were not bad, meaning edible, although the cookies were a little flat.

Then yesterday, just when we thought that things were not so bad...this happens!

Boom! Our coffee maker and pot exploded while are backs were turned. This could have been an unmitigated disaster to people of lesser caliber but we had a back up espresso machine! Otherwise CPR might have been required

Wait something doesn't look right???

Keep calm and brew on!

Don't worry no need for a breakdown everyone, it will all be OK in the end!

See I was right!

Well, stay safe and healthy everyone and remember for the foreseeable future
